Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class already includes top-tier talent across various positions. However, after losing three commitments in the past two months, head coach Mike Elko and his staff are now concentrating on the recruits set to visit in the next few months, including five-star athlete Brandon Arrington.
Arrington is one of the most highly coveted prospects in the 2026 class and stands out as one of the fastest players, capable of playing both wide receiver and cornerback at the collegiate level. At the end of last month, he included Texas A&M in his top 12, and the Aggies have now made it to his list of six finalists ahead of his decision later this year.
On Sunday, Arrington shared that Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State, USC, and Texas A&M are the schools he will focus on this summer. He plans to take an official visit to College Station from June 5-7, followed by a visit to USC a year later.
During his sophomore season in 2023, Arrington accumulated 310 receiving yards, four offensive touchdowns, 25 tackles on defense, and a punt return touchdown on special teams. While his college position is still undecided, the Aggies currently project him as a cornerback.
As of now, 247Sports ranks Arrington as the 23rd overall prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 1 athlete, and the second-best prospect in California.
