A four-star running back from El Paso, Texas, confirmed that he scheduled an official visit with the Gophers. He will be among the many 2026 recruits attending the team’s annual ‘Summer Splash’ event, set for June 13 to 15.
He was one of Texas’ most productive high school running backs last season. As a junior at El Dorado High School, he rushed for 2,422 yards on 179 carries and scored 34 total touchdowns. He also surpassed 800 rushing yards in his sophomore year and over 1,300 as a freshman in 2022.
According to the latest 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the 297th-ranked recruit in the class of 2026, the 21st-best running back, and the 38th-best player in Texas. The Gophers extended an offer to him on February 21, and he currently holds 17 other FBS offers. His visit to Minnesota is set to take place between his trips to Wisconsin and Tulane.

Standing at 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, Estrada might seem undersized, but he’s the level of player that could contribute on day one in the Big Ten. He joins Deuce Alston as the second 2026 running back to schedule an official visit with Minnesota.
