
The San Diego Gulls announced today that they have signed two players to professional tryouts (PTO) with the American Hockey League (AHL) club.
Brodzinski, 28 (born August 13, 1996), has accumulated 15 goals, 20 assists, and 35 points, along with 37 penalty minutes in 46 games between the Tulsa Oilers and Allen Americans of the ECHL this season. After being traded from Adirondack to Tulsa on January 5, the 6-foot-1, 191-pound forward has scored 4 goals, 9 assists, and 13 points with a +1 rating and 18 penalty minutes in 17 games with the Oilers. Brodzinski has also appeared in one AHL game with the Hartford Wolf Pack during his career.

Originally from Blaine, Minnesota, Brodzinski has recorded 45 goals, 50 assists, 95 points, and 162 penalty minutes in 153 career ECHL games with Jacksonville, Allen, and Tulsa. He also played 176 games in the NCAA with St. Cloud State from 2017-2022, totaling 67 goals, 58 assists, 125 points, 57 penalty minutes, and a +6 rating. His brother, Jonny, currently plays for the NHL’s New York Rangers and has played 184 career NHL games with the Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks.
Farren, 24 (born April 19, 1999), has recorded 17 goals, 17 assists, 34 points, 44 penalty minutes, and a +5 rating in 48 games with Tulsa this season. The Surrey, B.C. native has totaled 42 goals, 51 assists, and 93 penalty minutes in 154 career ECHL games with Tulsa from 2022 to 2025. He also participated in four Kelly Cup Playoff games in 2024, scoring one goal (1-0=1).
A 5-foot-10, 183-pound forward, Farren accumulated 37 goals, 70 assists, 107 points, and 161 penalty minutes in 248 career WHL games with Saskatoon, Kelowna, and Swift Current from 2016 to 2021. He also posted 17 goals, 22 assists, and 39 points in 38 games with Steel Wings Linz of the Alps Hockey League in 2021-2022.
