BREAKING: Texas A&M Receive Exciting News Involving Talented WR On Monday

Although baseball and basketball had a somewhat underwhelming weekend, major news broke from the football program in the past 24 hours. As reported by On3’s Steve Wiltfong,  the top wide receiver in the 2026 class, is scheduled for an official visit to Texas A&M on March 29th.

Keys is considered a game-changing talent at the wide receiver position. Currently ranked No. 4 overall in the Top247 and No. 7 in the 247 Composite, his rankings reflect his exceptional skills. Standing at 6’3″, Keys was a state qualifier in both the high jump and triple jump, meaning any program fortunate enough to recruit him can expect him to excel in jump ball situations. While he may not be the fastest receiver compared to others in the class, his combination of size and outstanding jump ball skills makes him a potential future WR1. A professional comparison could be Justin Jefferson, who, like Keys, isn’t a speedster but has a similar build and exceptional ability in jump ball situations.

Last year, Keys recorded 58 receptions for 1,275 yards and 14 touchdowns, facing some of the toughest competition in Mississippi. He also stood out in both the Polynesian Bowl and the Under Armour All-American game. In that game, his teammate, defensive lineman Kevin Oatis, was a four-star recruit in the Composite rankings and now plays for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Additionally, Keys has scheduled official visits to Tennessee on March 10th, LSU on March 18th, and Michigan on April 5th.

The 2026 class for Texas A&M is currently ranked No. 3 nationally, with nine commits so far. The highest-ranked recruit is EDGE Jordan Carter from Douglas County, Georgia. Carter is teammates with one of the two four-star wide receiver commits—Aaron Gregory, also from Douglas County, and Madden Williams, a wide receiver from St. John Bosco in California.

Holmon Wiggins, who is considered Keys’ primary recruiter, has been highly successful in recruiting wide receivers during his time with the Aggies. Securing Keys’ commitment would not only be his biggest signing yet but also one of the most significant commits for Texas A&M in recent memory, should he decide to join the Aggies in College Station.
