Edmonds, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound prospect from Marietta, GA, is ranked as the No. 5 cornerback in the nation and the No. 4 player in Georgia, according to 247Sports. He’s also rated as the No. 53 overall player in the 2026 class. While Alabama leads, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are still in the race.
“Alabama is on top. All four are still very high on my list, but Alabama has the top spot,” Edmonds told On3 ahead of his decision.
The highly sought-after recruit, known for his exceptional wingspan, earned rave reviews for his performance at the recent Under Armour ATL camp. According to 247Sports, Edmonds impressed with his fluidity in coverage and ability to shut down nearly every receiver in one-on-one drills. He was the only player to secure multiple interceptions during the session and consistently mirrored receivers in both press and off-man coverage.
Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class currently includes just one commitment, four-star athlete Zyan Gibson.
