The Navy All-American Bowl, formerly the Adidas-sponsored All-American Bowl, will showcase some of the nation’s best high school football talent. This year, junior prospects will once again compete alongside standout seniors in this prestigious event. Scheduled for today, January 11th at 12:00 PM in San Antonio, Texas, the game will feature several South Carolina Gamecock commits and targets.
Here are the key Gamecocks players to watch:
J’Zavien Currence – Four-Star Defensive Back (Class of 2026)
Joining Sarratt on the field is junior four-star defensive back J’Zavien Currence, a key member of South Carolina’s 2026 recruiting class. The Rock Hill, SC native chose the Gamecocks over numerous offers, including Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon. Currence is already recognized as one of the top young defensive backs in the country and is expected to make an impact during the game.
Darius Gray – Four-Star Offensive Lineman (Class of 2026)
Also representing the East team is four-star offensive lineman Darius Gray, a top target for South Carolina’s 2026 class. The Richmond, VA native is considered a Gamecock lean but has offers from elite programs such as Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Miami. Gray will join Sarratt on the offensive line, offering fans a glimpse of what could become a dominant front for South Carolina in the future.
