Alabama football gifted player entered the transfer portal on Sunday, just before the deadline, as reported by 247Sports.
The 6-3, 228-pound freshman from Munich, Germany, recorded 14 tackles in his debut season in 2024.
He participated in 39 defensive snaps during his first year, according to Pro Football Focus. His most extensive playing time came in the Missouri game, where he logged 14 snaps while Alabama shut out the Tigers.
He was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class, ranked as the No. 506 overall prospect and No. 47 linebacker, but also the top recruit from Germany.
He now joins fellow inside linebackers Jeremiah Alexander and Jihaad Campbell, both of whom will not return next season. Alexander entered the transfer portal, and Campbell declared for the NFL Draft.
On the other hand, Alabama will have several key inside linebackers back for the 2025 season, including Justin Jefferson and Deontae Lawson, who both announced they would return. The Crimson Tide also added Nikhai Hill-Green from Colorado through the transfer portal.
Following Alabama’s ReliaQuest Bowl game on Tuesday, an additional five-day transfer portal window opened, which closed on Sunday. However, players can still appear in the portal for up to two days after their schools submit their names.
