MAJOR BREAKING: Auburn Tigers Sign No. 1, 5-star Wide Receiver in Transfer Portal.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound has participated in all 24 games during his two years at Georgia Tech, starting 22 of them. Singleton has accumulated 104 receptions for 1,468 yards and nine touchdowns, leading the team in receiving yards in 2024 with 754.

A native of Douglasville, Ga., Singleton is a four-star transfer and the top wide receiver in the transfer portal according to 247Sports. As a high school recruit, he was a three-star prospect with offers from schools like Auburn, Michigan State, and Nebraska.

Singleton’s arrival could be a significant asset for Auburn, helping to replace KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who led the Tigers in both receptions (50) and receiving yards (981), while also sharing the team lead in receiving touchdowns (eight) with Cam Coleman.

Lambert-Smith, another highly sought-after transfer, joined Auburn ahead of the 2024 season, providing the Tigers’ young wide receiver prospects valuable time to grow.

Former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. signed with the Auburn Tigers from the transfer portal.

Singleton joins Horatio Fields, a four-star transfer from Wake Forest, as Auburn’s second wide receiver acquisition from the portal. Fields is ranked as the No. 27 overall player and No. 9 wide receiver in the portal by 247Sports. Auburn also signed three wide receivers in the recruiting class: four-star Derick Smith and three-stars Sam Turner and Erick Smith (Derick’s brother).

With Singleton’s addition, Auburn has now brought in 14 transfers, placing them fourth in the transfer rankings by 247Sports, behind Texas Tech, LSU, and Ole Miss.
