HUGE BLOW: Ohio State Buckeyes reportedly lost Another inpactfull and Fans Favorite player to NCAA Tranfer Portal.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to lose a couple of quarterbacks to the NCAA transfer portal this offseason,

Whilethe superstar has shown flashes of potential, he has struggled to secure consistent playing time and is now seeking a program where he can enter the season as the undisputed starter.

During his three years at Ohio State, Brown completed 55.3% of his passes for 325 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also contributed 37 rushing yards and a touchdown.

As for where Brown might end up, one possibility could be a nightmare scenario for the Buckeyes.

Wynston Wilcox of FanSided speculated that Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers could be a potential destination. This would be a troubling outcome for Ohio State, considering the developing rivalry between head coach Ryan Day and Cignetti after their first Big Ten meeting this season. If Cignetti were to target Brown in the portal to replace the departing Kurtis Rourke, it would be a move that could leave Day regretting the decision. Should Cignetti win the matchup, it could have serious consequences for Day’s future with Ohio State, possibly even jeopardizing his long-term tenure. Although Indiana might not be an ideal fit for Brown, the matchup between the two teams could certainly be intriguing.

Looking ahead, Indiana is a program that appears poised to become a strong contender in the coming years, having already reached the College Football Playoff this season. With Rourke set to graduate in 2025, the Hoosiers could look to Brown as a capable successor at quarterback.

While many teams will likely be in the market for a quarterback this offseason, Indiana remains a potential suitor, though there’s currently no confirmation of their interest.

For now, this remains a reasonable speculation, but if it comes to pass, it would be a tough blow for Ohio State. Hopefully, Brown finds a good landing spot, ideally one outside the Big Ten.
