Virginia transfer decided to join Gonzaga for his final year of college eligibility, opting for the Bulldogs over schools like Iowa State and Texas A&M. His choice to leave the Cavaliers, despite never playing a game for them, came shortly after the surprising retirement of head coach Tony Bennett. He visited Spokane for the 113-54 win over UMass Lowell and quickly realized that Gonzaga was the right fit for him. He even canceled his planned visit to Texas A&M afterward.

The defensive-minded combo guard spent his first three collegiate seasons at Florida State, where he was mentored by current Gonzaga assistant coach R-Jay Barsh. During his time with the Seminoles, Warley averaged 6.0 points, 2.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game over 96 appearances.
Standing at 6’7″ and weighing 205 pounds, Warley adds length and versatility to Gonzaga’s backcourt. In addition to being a strong defender against primary ball handlers or on the wing (reminiscent of Emmanuel Innocenti), Warley also has excellent passing skills and the ability to serve as a playmaker.

Warley intends to redshirt this season alongside Colgate transfer Braeden Smith. With Gonzaga set to lose several key players after this year, including Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, Khalif Battle, Michael Ajayi, and Ben Gregg, the addition of these two talented guards comes at a crucial time for the program.
Looking ahead to the 2025-26 season, a roster featuring Dusty Stromer, Braden Huff, Emmanuel Innocenti, Steele Venters, Ismaila Diagne, Jun Seok Yeo, Davis Fogle, and the two experienced transfers promises to be an exciting one. Gonzaga currently has three available scholarship spots for the upcoming season.
