The Cincinnati Reds remain one of the most thrilling and entertaining teams in the league.
With a blend of vibrant personalities, standout players, and an experienced manager who knows how to maximize his team’s potential, they’ve become a force to watch.
Heading into Tuesday, the Reds were only 3.5 games behind the final wild card spot in the National League.
They have a genuine opportunity to make a significant impact, and there’s strong encouragement for them to seize it.

Bleacher Report’s Kerry Miller has urged the Reds to make a splash and acquire their former third baseman and current Arizona Diamondbacks slugger Eugenio Suarez.
“The Reds could become sellers if things don’t go their way this week against Washington and Tampa Bay,” Miller wrote. “Emilio Pagán and Taylor Rogers would be coveted rentals, and maybe they could get someone else to pay the final third of Nick Martinez’s $21 million salary.
“But buying is more likely if they can get their hands on a power bat. Former Red Eugenio Suárez certainly fits that description.”
Suarez is currently the National League home run leader with 36 and he leads all of MLB with 86 RBI.
He made a name for himself in Cincinnati and was there from 2015-2021. He had a .253 career average with Reds and slugged 189 of his 312 career home runs while with them.
Cincinnati currently ranks 28th in Wins Above Average from its third baseman, so adding Suarez would be a huge boost to a team looking to make a playoff push.
Reds fans certainly wouldn’t have a problem with it and adding the power-hitting Suarez to a lineup that is in the bottom half of the league in most offensive categories could be enough to get Cincinnati to the postseason for the first time since 2020.
