Texas A&M Aggies beat 3 prominent programs to land commitment from another top talented LB

After a busy June on the recruiting trail, Texas A\&M football is keeping the momentum going into July.

Following 10 commitments in June, the Aggies landed their first recruit of the new month on Tuesday with a commitment from four-star linebacker.

The Carthage native chose Texas A\&M over offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Ole Miss. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Beck is the 9th-ranked linebacker in the nation (159th overall in the 2025 class) and the 23rd-ranked prospect in Texas.

At 6-foot, 215 pounds, Beck enters his senior season at Carthage High School with good size and a frame that can add more mass as he looks to transition to the SEC soon.

According to 247 Sports’ Gabe Brooks, Beck is a “Physical off-ball linebacker prospect with experience in that role and a two-point edge spot for Texas Class 4A’s best defense in Fall 2024.” He also “Displays impressive chase-down athleticism with the sudden acceleration to cover chunks of territory.”

He is the 22nd commitment for the 2026 class and the second linebacker to join, following four-star Storm Miller from Ohio. Beck becomes A\&M’s first commitment of July, strengthening their already impressive fourth-ranked class in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
