Nebraska tight end has committed to NC State. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound player, who was part of Nebraska’s 2024 recruiting class, made the announcement after his official visit to the Wolfpack.
He played in just one game during his lone season with Nebraska, preserving his redshirt eligibility, which gives him four more years of college football.
Before joining Nebraska, Flynt had a successful senior season at Katy (Texas) Taylor, recording 6 catches for 140 yards, and was known for his blocking abilities. In his junior year, he posted 10 receptions for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns, earning all-district honors both years.

Ranked as a three-star recruit, Flynt was the No. 63 tight end in the nation according to 247Sports.
He becomes the second tight end to transfer to NC State this offseason, following Elon transfer Cody Hardy. Flynt and Hardy will join current scholarship tight ends Justin Joly, Dante Daniels, and Gus Ritchey on the roster.
