
Another talented guard has announced his commitment to Indiana.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 195 pounds, the Oak Park, Michigan native has two years of eligibility left. According to the Portal Report, he had interest from a variety of schools, including St. John’s, Pittsburgh, St. Joseph’s, Temple, UCF, Duquesne, Indiana State, Dayton, Youngstown State, New Mexico State, UCSB, South Florida, and Western Kentucky.
Drake started all 33 games for Drexel last season, averaging 11.1 points, 3.1 assists, and three rebounds in 26.1 minutes per game.
He becomes the seventh player to join Indiana’s roster this spring, following Tucker DeVries, Conor Enright, Reed Bailey, Lamar Wilkerson, Jasai Miles, and Tayton Conerway. With this addition, the Hoosiers now have eight scholarship players for the upcoming season.

Looking ahead, Indiana is expected to strengthen its frontcourt, as Bailey is the only player on the roster taller than 6-foot-7.
In his final season at Drexel, Drake shot 39.6% from beyond the arc on 101 attempts and 86.5% from the free-throw line on 74 attempts. He also recorded four games with 20 or more points, including two 25-point performances—one against William & Mary on February 6 and another against Elon on March 8 in the CAA conference tournament. Drake scored double digits in 17 games.
He hit three 3-pointers in a game six times during the season. Over two years at Cleveland State (2022-23) and Drexel, he has a career 38.7% shooting percentage from three.
Drake spent the 2023-24 season at Butler Community College in Kansas, averaging 9.6 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 42% from beyond the arc.
As a freshman at Cleveland State in 2022-23, he averaged just 1.6 points in 5.6 minutes per game.
Drake played high school basketball at Ferndale High School and was also part of The Family, competing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
