Jordan Reid released his seven-round mock draft this week, just days ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bengals kicked things off at Pick 17 by selecting Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon.
Harmon, who comes in at No. 23 on the consensus big board and is the second-ranked defensive tackle, brings size and strength to the middle of the line.
“With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins locked into new deals, Cincinnati can shift its attention to the defensive side of the ball,” Reid noted. “Outside of Trey Hendrickson—who’s currently in a contract standoff—the Bengals lack reliable pass-rushers. Harmon, standing 6’5″ and weighing 313 pounds, offers a powerful interior presence. He recorded five sacks last year and led all defensive tackles with 34 QB pressures. His pressure rate of 10.7% ranked second among all DTs.”

In the second round (Pick 49), the Bengals picked Arkansas edge rusher Landon Jackson, who is ranked No. 50 overall and ninth among edge defenders.
“After addressing the interior D-line in Round 1, we go with an edge rusher here,” Reid explained. “Jackson, at 6’6″ and 265 pounds, has great size and college production. He notched 6.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons and totaled 54 pressures—sixth-most in the SEC over that stretch.”
In Round 3, Cincinnati picked Georgia guard Tate Ratledge. He ranks 58th on the consensus board and is the fourth-rated interior offensive lineman.
“Ratledge continues the trend of offensive linemen being taken off the board. His steady blocking inside would help keep Joe Burrow upright,” Reid wrote.
Here’s a rundown of the Bengals’ other picks and their rankings:
-
Pick 119: RB Cam Skattebo (Arizona State) — ranked 81st overall
-
Pick 153: CB Zy Alexander (LSU) — ranked 153rd
-
Pick 193: S R.J. Mickens (Clemson) — ranked 150th
