WVU land blockbuster commitment for top talented player

On Thursday afternoon, the West Virginia Mountaineers bolstered their offensive line with the addition of North Alabama transfer  (6’5″, 280 lbs), who committed to the program.

Clay, who had several other offers, ultimately chose West Virginia over schools like Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Cal, Coastal Carolina, Iowa State, Kennesaw State, Mississippi State, Old Dominion, Ohio, Troy, Tulsa, UConn, UNLV, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan, and others.

Clay started his career at the College of DuPage, a junior college, before transferring to North Alabama, where he played for three seasons. Initially, he provided depth on the offensive line but eventually worked his way into a starting role at right tackle.

With one year of eligibility remaining, Clay will look to make an impact at West Virginia in his final season.
