Mississippi State senior quarterback Jake Weir has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Weir will have one year of college eligibility left.
Weir, who joined the Bulldogs as a walk-on, did not see any game action during his three years in Starkville and has no collegiate stats. Coming out of high school, Weir was a three-star recruit per Rivals. He chose Mississippi State as a preferred walk-on over scholarship offers from Southern Illinois and UT-Martin.
