In addition to honoring Beltré, the Rangers will celebrate two more former stars. On Saturday, August 9, Josh Hamilton will be presented with his Rangers Hall of Fame jacket before the game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Hamilton, who hit 142 of his 200 career home runs with the Rangers, was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2019. A five-time All-Star and the 2010 American League MVP, he led the league with a .359 batting average that year.

Shin-Soo Choo, the Korean right fielder who spent seven seasons with the Rangers, will return to Arlington on August 22 for the first time since 2020. Choo, who hit .260 with 114 home runs during his time with the team, will join Beltré in throwing a ceremonial first pitch before the start of the three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians.
