The University of Central Florida (UCF) football team has officially secured a commitment from 2026 recruit, 3-star linebacker Jaden Parker from New Jersey. Parker, a rising talent with impressive athleticism and a strong defensive presence, announced his decision via social media earlier today.
The 6’2″, 215-pound linebacker from East Brunswick High School is known for his speed, ability to read plays, and fierce tackling. His commitment marks a significant victory for UCF’s defense as the Knights continue to build a strong recruiting class for 2026 under head coach Gus Malzahn.
Parker had a standout sophomore season in high school, recording over 80 tackles, including 15 for loss, and adding four sacks to his resume. His versatility on the field has drawn attention from multiple programs, but UCF’s coaching staff, led by defensive coordinator Travis Williams, was able to secure his pledge.

“I’ve been watching UCF for a while, and the opportunity to be part of a growing program with great coaches and an amazing fan base is something I couldn’t pass up,” Parker said in a statement. “I’m excited to bring my skills to Orlando and help contribute to the team’s success.”
With Parker’s commitment, UCF continues to make waves on the recruiting trail, further bolstering its defense for the upcoming years. The Knights are expected to be a strong contender in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and beyond, with their recruiting efforts showing no signs of slowing down.
Parker’s decision is a sign of the program’s rising national profile, as the Knights have made a habit of landing top talent from all over the country. The class of 2026 now has added depth with a key piece in the defensive lineup.
UCF fans will be eager to see Parker’s growth over the next few years, and his commitment adds to the excitement surrounding the future of UCF football.
