Big news: Texas A&M Aggies lands massive commitment from star kicker

Texas A&M football made another key addition to its future.

The Aggies continued their strong recruiting efforts by securing a commitment from 2026 kicker.

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Murray is ranked as the No. 3 kicker in the nation and the 47th overall prospect in Louisiana, per 247Sports. He also received offers from Memphis and Maryland.

Last season at C.E. Byrd, Murray connected on 44 of 47 extra point attempts and made 12 of 14 field goals, with a season-long kick of 56 yards. His performance earned him first-team honors on both the MaxPreps Junior All-American team and the LSWA All-State team.

The Aggies are entering Year 2 under head coach Mike Elko and look to build on an 8-5 season while maintaining a stronghold as a top recruiting program in the country.
