Curt Cignetti secured his highest-rated recruit for the 2026 class, a composite four-star and top-300 prospect according to 247 Sports. Hill chose Indiana over offers from Illinois, Iowa, Rutgers, and LSU, among others.
Hill is the fourth defensive line commitment for Cignetti in this class, a position that played a crucial role in his success during his first season as head coach. Last year, the team’s standout run defense was led by C.J. West, a future NFL Draft pick, and Mikail Kamara, an All-American.

Standing at 6’2” and weighing 275 lbs., Hill primarily plays on the interior of his high school’s defensive line, but his athleticism and burst suggest he could transition to an edge rusher in college. As a rising senior, he’s ranked among the top ten recruits in Illinois.
With nine commitments, Cignetti’s 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked 31st nationally. Indiana hasn’t landed a top-30 class since Tom Allen’s 2022 recruiting cycle, which included standout recruit Dasan McCullough.
