Huge boost: Another highly rated super talent transfer to St. Louis Battlehawks

The St. Louis Battlehawks have made a roster move, signing defensive back Micah Abraham and releasing linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi, according to the UFL Transactions page on Tuesday.

Micah Abraham, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back from Tampa, Florida, is 24 years old. He was selected in the sixth round (201st overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. During the 2024 preseason, Abraham recorded 10 tackles (4 solo, 6 assisted), a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown across three games. The Colts released him on August 17, 2024.

He later joined the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad on October 8, 2024, where he spent the remainder of the season before being released on May 12, 2025.

At the college level, Abraham played five seasons at Marshall University (2019–2023), compiling 150 tackles (97 solo, 53 assisted), 2.5 tackles for loss, half a sack, 12 interceptions for 147 yards and a touchdown, 55 pass breakups, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a blocked punt across 62 games. He earned an All-American Honorable Mention from Phil Steele in 2022. Abraham is also the son of Battlehawks defensive coordinator Donnie Abraham, and his brother, Donnie Jr., served as the team’s defensive backs coach in 2023.

 

St. Louis Battlehawks

 

Olakunle Fatukasi, a 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker from Far Rockaway, New York, is 25 years old. He joined the Battlehawks on December 4, 2024. During the 2025 season, he appeared in six games, tallying 18 tackles (8 solo, 10 assisted) and one tackle for loss.

Fatukasi entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on May 13, 2022. He posted 21 tackles (12 solo, 9 assisted) and 1.5 sacks in three preseason games that year. In the regular season, he made six tackles in 13 games before being waived on December 13, 2022.

His NFL journey also included stints with the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs, before signing with the Los Angeles Rams on October 11, 2023. He made one tackle in one regular season game with the Rams and had 13 tackles (8 solo, 5 assisted) in the 2024 preseason. The Rams released him on August 25, 2024.

In college, Fatukasi was a standout at Rutgers, where he played from 2017 to 2021. He totaled 302 tackles (153 solo, 149 assisted), 28 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 7 pass breakups, 4 forced fumbles, and 4 fumble recoveries in 53 games. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2020 and Third Team All-Big Ten in 2021.
