RECRUITING ROUNDUP: Matt Dhule’s Nebraska Beat Texas, SMU, and Oklahoma and secure Four-star wide receiver

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have extended an offer to four-star wide receiver Tre Moore, a standout from Weiss High School in Pflugerville, Texas, and a top prospect in the 2027 recruiting class.

Per Rivals, Moore ranks as the No. 3 wide receiver nationally, the No. 8 player in Texas, and No. 35 overall. Nebraska joins a competitive race for his commitment, with Texas, SMU, and Oklahoma currently seen as the favorites.

As a sophomore, Moore posted 38 catches for 562 yards and six touchdowns over 11 games. Nebraska’s offer came from wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts. Moore also drew attention from current Nebraska 2027 quarterback commit Trae Taylor, who has been actively recruiting fellow prospects.

Taylor, the Huskers’ lone 2027 commit so far, has been working to build momentum for the class, reaching out to Moore, tight end Ahmad Hudson, and running back Myson Johnson-Cook.

Would you like updates if Moore narrows down his college choices or commits?
