The Miami Dolphins have revamped their roster while trade rumors swirl around star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who has been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers. As head coach Mike McDaniel kicks off rookie minicamp, the team announced the signing of all but one of their draft picks and brought in a significant number of undrafted free agents.
On Friday, the Dolphins officially signed seven drafted players, including defensive tackles Kenneth Grant, Jordan Phillips, and Zeek Biggers, cornerback Jason Marshall Jr., safety Dante Trader Jr., running back Ollie Gordon II, and quarterback Quinn Ewers. Offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea, a second-round pick, remains the only unsigned rookie. Additionally, Miami added 16 undrafted free agents, such as Eugene Asante, Jalin Conyers, and AJ Henning.
These moves come as speculation grows that Hill may be eyeing an exit from Miami. The chatter intensified after the Steelers traded receiver George Pickens to the Cowboys, leaving a gap in their receiving corps. Adding fuel to the rumors, Hill omitted quarterback Tua Tagovailoa—his former top choice—from a recent list of his five favorite NFL quarterbacks.

Reports suggest Pittsburgh could be considering Hill as a replacement for Pickens and a key piece to support DK Metcalf. However, such a move might also complicate the Steelers’ rumored pursuit of free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Hill, nicknamed “Cheetah,” had a relatively quiet 2024 season in Tagovailoa’s absence, logging 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns across 17 games, along with seven carries for 47 rushing yards. The 31-year-old recently shared that he underwent a second wrist surgery, posting a bandaged photo of his arm on Snapchat with the caption “surgery #2.”
