BREAKING: Chargers make exciting Roster addition of talented weapon

The Los Angeles Chargers pleased many fans with their recent NFL Draft decisions, strengthening their offense for quarterback Justin Herbert and addressing other roster needs.

Now, it seems they’re adding another twist to their look—though it won’t impact the team’s on-field performance.

According to Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.net, the Chargers are among several teams planning to unveil an alternate helmet this summer. Lind reports that Los Angeles is expected to introduce a navy blue helmet that pairs with their Color Rush uniforms, featuring the same gold lightning bolt as seen on their jerseys and pants. This would pay homage to their helmet design from 1988 to 2006 and eliminate the need to alter decals on their usual white helmets.

These navy blue helmets were a fan favorite in the past, so bringing them back would likely be a popular move.

Still, some fans might prefer the team make a bigger splash—like bringing back wide receiver Keenan Allen. But given that the Chargers selected multiple receivers in the draft, that reunion seems unlikely.

Last season, the Chargers finished with an 11-6 record, taking second place in the AFC West before being eliminated by the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round.
