JUST IN: Duke’s Jon Scheyer Gets Major Recruiting News on Five-Star Recruit

Duke heads into the offseason following an impressive 35–4 season and a Final Four appearance under head coach Jon Scheyer. Despite losing all five starters to the NBA Draft—including star freshmen Cooper Flagg, Khaman Maluach, and Kon Knueppel—the Blue Devils remain firmly in the national title conversation, thanks to an elite incoming 2025 recruiting class.

Looking ahead, Duke is actively targeting top talent for the 2026 cycle. One key prospect, four-star power forward Sebastian Wilkins from Brewster Academy, is set to take his official visit to Durham on Monday, according to 247Sports’ Sam Kayser. Wilkins, ranked No. 17 in ESPN’s Top 100 for 2026, has already visited Maryland and Texas A\&M, and is drawing interest from a host of other programs including Alabama, Florida State, Iowa, and Boston College.

The 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward averaged 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in the 2023–24 season, and earned MVP honors in Brewster’s win over powerhouse Oak Hill Academy. He’s currently rated the top recruit in New Hampshire and the No. 7 power forward in the nation.

With roster turnover and a fresh recruiting push underway, Wilkins’ visit could be a pivotal moment for Duke as they work to build another championship-contending squad.
