USF Bulls SHOCKINGLY Lose to Stetson

 

The University of South Florida (USF) baseball team suffered a tough 5-3 loss to the Stetson Hatters Stetson dominated the game with 14 hits, while USF managed 5 hits and committed 3 errors. Justin pitched a strong game for Stetson, earning the win (2-0), while USF’s Jorge took the loss (1-1). Ty Van Dyke secured the save for Stetson (5).

Despite the loss, USF remains in second place in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) standings, trailing the UTSA Roadrunners by three games. The Bulls hold a one-game lead over Charlotte and a two-game lead over Florida Atlantic, Tulane, and East Carolina.

 

The loss brings USF’s record to 24-18 overall and 12-6 in the AAC. Stetson improved to 30-16 overall and 18-3 in the conference. USF will look to bounce back in their next game, seeking to maintain their position in the conference standings.
