As the offseason continues, the Washington State Cougars have bolstered their roster with another transfer on the offensive line. WSU confirmed the addition of physically gifted player for the 2025 season.
Over the past three seasons, the interior lineman played in 38 games for New Mexico State. In 2024, he started 11 games at left guard and one at center, appearing in all 12 of the Aggies’ contests. He was a key part of an offensive line that gave up 30 sacks and helped power a rushing attack that averaged 4.3 yards per carry.

Originally from Riverside, California, and a graduate of Centennial High School, Vaipulu was listed at 6-foot-2 and 295 pounds on NMSU’s roster. His performance last season earned him second-team All-Conference USA honors.
Vaipulu becomes the third offensive line transfer added by head coach Jimmy Rogers and his staff during this cycle. He’s also the third former New Mexico State player to transfer to Washington State as of April 28.
