Gonzaga Bulldogs Receive Big news On Arizona State transfer

After holding onto several key contributors from last season, Gonzaga is now turning its offseason efforts toward acquiring experienced players to complete its 2025–26 roster.

The Bulldogs are set to lose six rotation players from the team that won the 2025 West Coast Conference tournament and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Despite these departures, Gonzaga remains one of the few major programs yet to make a major move in the transfer portal.

A puzzling development this spring was Ben Gregg entering the transfer portal despite having no remaining eligibility.

With core players like Graham Ike, Braden Huff, and a few others returning to Spokane, head coach Mark Few and his staff appear well-positioned to secure their first transfer commitment of the 2025 cycle.

Arizona State Sun Devils guard Adam Miller (44).

According to Joe Tipton of On3+, Gonzaga has become “the trending favorite” to land Arizona State transfer Adam Miller. Tipton predicted that Miller—who would be playing for his fourth school in five years—will choose Gonzaga.

While Miller doesn’t have strong personal ties to the program, the coaching staff is familiar with his game, having faced him during a matchup with Arizona State on Nov. 10. In that game, Miller hit two 3-pointers and scored eight points in an 88–80 win for Gonzaga. He also played alongside former Bulldog Chet Holmgren on the gold medal-winning 2021 USA U19 World Cup team.

Since entering the transfer portal on April 14, Miller has drawn interest from several programs, including Baylor, Pitt, Texas, Illinois, and West Virginia. Over two seasons with Bobby Hurley at Arizona State, he played in 53 games and started 51, averaging 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 42.9% from beyond the arc last season.

If Miller commits, he would bring much-needed outside shooting to Gonzaga’s lineup. The Bulldogs shot just 35.4% from three last season—the lowest mark during Mark Few’s tenure—and with the loss of their top five perimeter shooters, it’s clear the coaching staff is prioritizing proven sharpshooters to bolster the backcourt and wings.
