WVU Receive Intriguing News Regarding Jacksonville State Offensive Tackle

West Virginia’s offensive line still has a lot of progress to make before head coach Rich Rodriguez feels confident in his depth chart. In the current era of transfer portal recruiting, the Mountaineers are expected to be aggressive in strengthening their offensive front.

One potential addition is a familiar name for Rodriguez—Jacksonville State offensive tackle transfer  (6’4″, 290 lbs). According to Chris Hummer of 247 Sports, O’Steen has scheduled visits with West Virginia.

O’Steen didn’t play during his true freshman season, but he became a starter in 2022 and has since made 38 career starts. Hailing from White Plains, Alabama, he earned Honorable Mention All-CUSA honors in 2023 and was named First-Team All-CUSA this past season.
