Former Oklahoma guard Duke Miles announced Tuesday via Instagram that he’s committing to Texas A&M. The news was also confirmed by On3’s Joe Tipton.
This decision comes shortly after Miles backed out of a commitment to Virginia on April 11—just four days after initially choosing the Cavaliers from the NCAA Transfer Portal.
In the 2024-25 season, Miles averaged 9.4 points per game and led the Sooners in three-point shooting at 43%, helping them earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament during their first year in the SEC. Before his time at Oklahoma, Miles had previous stops at Troy and High Point.

He made a strong impression at High Point during the 2023-24 season, putting up 17.5 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game over 33 contests, including 27 starts. His performance helped earn him a starting role under Oklahoma head coach Porter Moser, where he logged an average of 24.6 minutes per game.
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Miles played high school ball at Percy L. Julian High School. After entering the portal again this cycle, he was ranked as the No. 79 overall player and the No. 5 combo guard in the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings.
