The Oregon State Beavers have secured their second transfer commitment of the weekend, with James Madison cornerback choosing to join the team.
Hopper was initially part of the 2024 recruiting class, having committed to James Madison over more than 20 other offers, which included schools like App State, Boise State, Colorado, Indiana, Liberty, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon State, UConn, and Western Kentucky.
A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Hopper did not see any playing time as a true freshman at James Madison this past season. Before his college career, he recorded 78 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, and 10 pass deflections across three seasons at Alpharetta High School, according to MaxPrep.
Hopper will have four years of eligibility to play for the Beavers.
