Huge boost: Auburn beat two prominent programs to land commitment for top talented player

Auburn has secured another important transfer for its 2025-26 roster.

The Tigers land talented wing beating out several other offers from schools like Tennessee and Indiana.

The 6-foot-8 player, posted impressive stats last season at the DII school, averaging 19.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He shot 57.8% from the field, 46.3% from three, and 80.2% from the free-throw line.

A native of Palm Beach, Fla., Freeman set a career-high 36 points in a game against Carson Newman and was named the South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year.

He joins a growing list of Auburn additions from the transfer portal, including UCF wing Keyshawn Hall, Mississippi State forward KeyShawn Murphy, and Texas Tech guard Kevin Overton. Additionally, Auburn signed two JUCO players in the spring—center Emeka Opurum and wing Abdul Bashir.

Earlier in the recruiting period, Auburn also brought in four-star guards Kaden Magwood and Simon Walker, as well as four-star forward Sebastian Williams-Adams.
