Montana State’s forward is entering the transfer portal with one season of college basketball remaining. The Missoula Sentinel product made the announcement via Instagram on Monday afternoon.
“I want to sincerely thank my community, teammates, and coaches for the unwavering support throughout my journey,” said Deden in her post. “With a heavy heart, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining. It’s been a true blessing to be a part of something so special. I’m incredibly grateful for the memories and excited for what the future holds.”

Deden made an immediate impact at Montana State, appearing in all 90 games from her freshman through junior seasons. She was off to a strong start in her senior year (2023–24), averaging 13.8 points and 8.3 rebounds through the first six games before a season-ending knee injury cut her campaign short.
After rehabbing, she returned to the court in late December this past season. She went on to play in 23 games, starting seven, while averaging 10 minutes and 4 points per contest. Her top performance came against Northern Colorado on January 9, when she logged season-highs of 13 points and 21 minutes.
Deden wraps up her Bobcat career with 114 games played, 39 starts, 722 points, and 441 rebounds.
