The Huskers continue to secure commitments from players in the transfer portal.
Kendall Blue has announced his commitment to Nebraska men’s basketball. The former St. Thomas guard, who has one year of eligibility left, shared the news on social media Wednesday.
Over three seasons with the Tommies, the 6-6 Blue played in 95 games and started 89. In the most recent season, he helped lead St. Thomas to the Summit League Tournament championship game, where they were defeated by Omaha. Blue averaged 12.3 points and 2.4 assists per game, shooting 51% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range.
Blue is the fifth transfer commitment for Fred Hoiberg since Friday. He joins fellow transfers Will Cooper from Air Force, Pryce Sandfort from Iowa, Ugnius Jarusevicius from Central Michigan, and former Husker Jamarcus Lawrence, who is returning from Rhode Island. Nebraska has also seen Nick Janowski and Gavin Griffiths enter the transfer portal.
