BREAKING: Texas A&M receive devastating news as two big names enters the transfer portal with “do not contact” status

Texas A&M forward and guard  have entered the transfer portal with “do not contact” status, according to a source with access to the portal database.

Washington, one of the Aggies’ top defenders, averaged 4.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game last season in 22.2 minutes of play.

Mills, who redshirted his first season at A&M after being a 4-star recruit from Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Maryland, is also entering the portal.

They are the fifth and sixth Aggies from last season’s roster to enter the portal, joining Rob Dockery, Jaelyn Lee, Janusz Ratowski, and Pharrel Payne.

Former A&M head coach Buzz Williams was announced as the new head coach at Maryland on Wednesday, creating an opening at A&M. Athletic director Trev Alberts is actively searching for a replacement before the transfer portal window closes on April 22.

The new coaching staff will need to rebuild the Aggies’ entire 10-man rotation from last season due to transfers and the departure of eight seniors. As of Thursday, guard George Turkson Jr. and forward Chris McDermott are the only players remaining on the roster.
