UConn receive massive news from talented forward Jaylin Stewart

Jaylin Stewart will be return to Storrs for his junior season with UConn men’s basketball.

The soon-to-be junior kept it simple with an Instagram post Saturday night announcing “Let’s run it back!!”

It sounds like there’s quite a bit of movement happening with UConn’s roster as they prepare for the future. Stewart’s return seems like a bright spot for the Huskies, especially considering the departures of freshmen Nowell and Abraham, and the loss of seniors Johnson and Diarra. His performance, averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in just under 18 minutes per game, indicates he can contribute solidly to the team, even with limited playing time.

The comments from McNeeley and Karaban hint that they might be weighing their NBA options, and Reed’s post definitely adds some intrigue. If he’s the subject of transfer rumors, fans seem to be hopeful that Stewart’s presence could help keep the team intact or at least help steer things in a positive direction.

It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming weeks, especially with more announcements potentially on the way. What do you think about the team’s chances next season, given all these changes?
