Raiders Strengthen Secondary with Trio of Signings
The Las Vegas Raiders have made a significant move to bolster their defensive backfield, signing safety Jeremy Chinn, cornerback Eric Stokes, and safety Lonnie Johnson Jr.

These additions are expected to bring a significant boost to the Raiders’ secondary, which was a area of concern last season.
“We’re excited to add these talented players to our roster,” said Raiders’ General Manager, Dave Ziegler. “They bring a level of skill and experience that will help us compete with the top teams in the league.”
Jeremy Chinn, a 6-foot-3 safety, joins the Raiders after spending three seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He’s known for his versatility and ability to play both safety and linebacker.
Eric Stokes, a 6-foot-1 cornerback, was a first-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2021. He brings a level of speed and athleticism to the Raiders’ secondary.
Lonnie Johnson Jr., a 6-foot-2 safety, joins the Raiders after spending three seasons with the Houston Texans. He’s known for his physical play and ability to make big hits.
These signings are a clear indication that the Raiders are committed to strengthening their defense and making a push for the playoffs in the upcoming season.
With training camp just around the corner, Raiders’ fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to see these new players in action.
