BREAKING: WHAT A BIG COMMIT!! Top in-state QB Commit and Schedule Visit To Washington Huskies

Coach Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies have yet to secure a quarterback for the 2026 class, as they continue to pursue four-star prospect Brady Smigiel and aim to lock down a 2027 quarterback sooner rather than later.

One of their top targets is in-state quarterback Sione Kaho from Lincoln High School in Tacoma. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Kaho, ranked as the No. 63 overall prospect and the top player in Washington by On3, received an offer from offensive coordinator Jimmie Dougherty in May 2024. He is scheduled for an unofficial visit to Seattle on April 5.

Kaho has received seven offers, with teams like Arizona State, BYU, California, and Oregon also showing interest. He will visit Provo, Utah, to meet with coach Kalani Sitake and the Cougars on March 21. Kaho comes from an athletic family with connections to coach Chris Petersen and the Washington program.

Washington could add plenty of additional prospects to the 2025 class soon

Washington fans may recall Sione’s older brother, former five-star linebacker Ale Kaho, who briefly enrolled at Washington in the summer of 2018 before transferring to Alabama and ultimately finishing his career at UCLA. His brother Vai also played linebacker, spending four seasons at San Diego State before transferring to Montana for the 2024 season.

In addition to Kaho, Fisch’s staff appears to be targeting two quarterbacks from California in the 2027 class. Caden Jones, a standout at Crean Lutheran, holds a dual-sport offer from the Huskies, while Rivals’ Adam Gorney predicts that Murrieta Valley quarterback Daniel Mielke II will likely end up at Washington.
