BREAKING: Cowboys Submit Bid for $90 million former Super Bowl champion star

The Dallas Cowboys may be looking for a wide receiver to bolster their roster this offseason.

With Brandin Cooks departing to the New Orleans Saints and CeeDee Lamb lacking a true counterpart in the offense, the Cowboys could use some help at the position.

Sporting News writer Austen Bundy suggests the Cowboys consider trading for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

“Jerry Jones is known for being frugal, but he’s shown a willingness to spend on game-changing stars. He did it with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in 2024, though that has limited the team’s ability to add solid supporting players,” Bundy writes.

“Hill comes with a significant $27.7 million cap hit in 2025, which isn’t ideal, but it could be managed through draft picks or salary retention.”

“While Dallas isn’t considered a stronger playoff contender than Miami, pairing Hill with Lamb and Prescott could be the bold move Jones needs to stay competitive in the NFC East.”

A trade for Hill would certainly create a stir around the league, adding another major target for Dak Prescott.

However, the key question is whether Jones believes acquiring Hill would improve the Cowboys. While Dallas might benefit from strengthening its defense, adding nearly $28 million in cap space for Hill could throw off the team’s overall balance.

That said, the Cowboys are not afraid to take risks, and trading for Hill could prove to be a successful move if the team creates a winning environment for the former Super Bowl champion.
