
The Washington Commanders have announced the re-signing of linebacker, wide receiver , and cornerback . The full details of the contracts were not disclosed.
a 6-1, 220-pound linebacker with 14 years of experience, was initially undrafted and joined the New York Jets in 2011. Over his career, he has appeared in 216 regular-season games, recording 91 tackles, one sack, and two forced fumbles. Last season, he was signed to Washington’s practice squad before Week 1, then promoted to the active roster shortly after. Bellore spent five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks from 2018 to 2023, earning Pro Bowl honors as a special teams player in 2020 and 2023, and played in four playoff games with the team. Before Seattle, he spent time with the New York Jets (2011-2014) and the San Francisco 49ers (2015-2016). In 2016, he started a career-high 10 games at linebacker for the 49ers, recording 77 tackles, one sack, and an interception. Bellore played college football at Central Michigan from 2007 to 2010.
Brown, a 6-2, 225-pound wide receiver, is a seven-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft (239th overall). He has played in 87 games, starting 34, with 150 receptions for 2,000 yards and six touchdowns. Last season with Washington, Brown appeared in 11 games, starting nine, and made 35 catches for 453 yards and one touchdown, including a memorable Hail Mary against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. Before joining the Commanders, he spent a season with the Houston Texans, where he caught 33 passes for a career-high 567 yards and two touchdowns. Brown also spent five seasons with the Cowboys (2017-2022), recording 82 receptions for 980 yards and three touchdowns. In 2022, he had career highs with 43 receptions and three touchdown catches. He attended Ohio State University, where he was a member of the 2014 National Championship team.
Igbinoghene, a 5-11, 197-pound cornerback, is a six-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft (30th overall). He has played in 54 games, starting 15, and has recorded 84 tackles, 12 passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. In 2023, he played five games with the Dallas Cowboys, providing depth at cornerback and contributing on special teams, including a 58-yard touchdown return of a blocked field goal in Week 1. From 2020 to 2022, Igbinoghene appeared in 16 games with Miami, helping the Dolphins reach the playoffs for the first time since 2016. He played three seasons at Auburn (2017-2019), starting 22 of 40 games and recording 92 tackles, 19 passes defensed, one interception, and a forced fumble. He also had 44 kickoff returns for 1,199 yards and two touchdowns. Igbinoghene attended Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama, where he was a standout wide receiver and track athlete, with his parents both being Olympic track athletes for Nigeria.
