
The No. 6 Oregon State Beavers will face off against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Tuesday night in a college baseball game at Goss Stadium in Corvallis. The game is set to begin at 5:35 p.m.
This marks the Beavers’ final game of a season-long nine-game homestand. Oregon State remains undefeated in the first eight games of the stretch and has won nine consecutive games overall. Last weekend, they completed a three-game series sweep, winning two games against Grand Canyon and one against Santa Clara, all in Corvallis.
OSU has won 14 consecutive home games dating back to last season.

Additional Notes:
- Oakes, a 6-foot-2 junior, will make his fifth appearance and third start of the season. He was dominant in his last start against Washington State, throwing five scoreless innings, allowing only three hits, and earning his first win of the season.
- This will be the third meeting between Oregon State and Rutgers, with the Beavers winning both previous matchups in the 2007 Charlottesville Regional.
- Oregon State currently ranks fourth in the nation in ERA (2.81), sixth in hits per nine innings (6.2), and 17th in WHIP (1.19).
- OSU catcher Wilson Weber is coming off a strong week, batting 7 for 15 with 12 RBIs in five wins. He shares the team lead in RBIs with Gavin Turley at 18.
- Junior outfielder Easton Talt has hit safely in seven of the eight games during this homestand, including three straight games, and had a solid weekend series going 4 for 7 with four RBIs.
- This is OSU’s fourth matchup of the season against a Big Ten team, with the Beavers holding a 2-1 record against them so far, having beaten Indiana and Ohio State, while losing to Minnesota.
