
According to multiple reports, the New York Giants have reached an agreement with former San Francisco 49ers linebacker, pending a physical. The versatile linebacker brings a wealth of experience to the Giants, having played five seasons in the NFL, primarily with the 49ers.
Standing 6-2 and weighing 223 pounds, has appeared in 73 regular-season games with seven starts during his career. Initially entering the league as an undrafted rookie from Arizona, he spent most of his 2019 season on the practice squad. Over the course of his career, he has earned valuable playing time and made nine postseason appearances.
In 2024, Flannigan-Fowles saw a career-high three starts and made significant contributions, including recording his first interception during the season opener against the New York Jets. Known for his special teams prowess, Flannigan-Fowles has been a standout in that area, ranking 19th in the NFL with 37 total special teams tackles since 2020. His strong special teams play was particularly notable in 2022, when he finished fifth in the league with 15 tackles.

The recipient has “taken advantage of every opportunity, turned it into a positive situation and made their dream turn into a reality.” The award is voted on by the coaches.
