New York Giants land massive deal for 27-year-old offensive tackle

The New York Giants, who are still in search of a veteran quarterback, have bolstered their offensive line depth by signing 27-year-old offensive tackle , as announced by his agency, AMDG Sports.

The offensive tackle, who stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 306 pounds, was selected by Seattle in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft (No. 208 overall) from Florida.

He has played in 53 games with 14 starts, including 11 at right tackle and three at left tackle. Forsythe has logged the majority of his NFL snaps (825) at right tackle but has also played over 200 snaps at left tackle, with most of those coming in 2023.

During his time at Florida, Forsythe primarily played left tackle.

According to Pro Football Focus, the 27-year-old has allowed 74 career pressures on 678 pass-blocking snaps and has a pass-blocking efficiency rating of 93.5 since entering the NFL.
