younger coach—he’s 73 while Belichick is 72—UNC initially had a different plan. According to a report from ESPN’s David Hale, Andrea Adelson, and Chris Low, athletic director Bubba Cunningham’s first choice was actually Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
