The Georgia native chose Alabama over Mississippi State, Kentucky, and others. In an interview with Touchdown Alabama, Booker explained why he decided to commit, his connection with the coaching staff, and the type of player Alabama is getting.

“I always knew Alabama was the one,” Booker shared with Touchdown Alabama. “I just had to commit.”

Booker, who received an offer from Alabama on February 1 after attending Junior Day, has remained in close contact with the coaching staff, particularly offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic.

“We’ve been talking for a while,” Booker said. “Coach Kap and the rest of the staff make me feel at home. They make me feel like there’s a place for me at Alabama, and I’m willing to work for it.”

Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 280 pounds, Booker is expected to play as an interior offensive lineman. He described his playing style as physical and versatile.

“I’m a physical, nasty player that can do it all,” Booker added. “I’m athletic and football smart.”

Despite offers from other power-four programs, Booker emphasized that Alabama’s unique qualities drew him in.

“Alabama isn’t just a name,” he said. “It’s a standard, a brotherhood that I would love to be a part of.”

Booker joins four-star cornerback Zyan Gibson as the only two commitments in Alabama’s 2026 class so far. He has also confirmed that his recruitment is closed, posting the announcement via X (formerly Twitter).
