The Texas A&M Aggies continue to secure official visits from top-tier recruits.
In a recent interview with On3’s Chad Simmons, it was revealed that four-star linebacker from Carthage (TX) plans to visit Texas A&M officially this spring.
The Aggies are one of four programs to earn an official visit from the talented defender, alongside Arizona State, Baylor, and SMU.
“I will be at A&M for a spring practice and their spring game,” Beck told Simmons. “It is a nice environment to be in. Since Coach Elko got there, I have seen a big difference in the program. I like Coach Elko, Coach Bateman and Coach Trooper a lot. They have shown me that they really want me there. Coach Elko is a defensive guy too. He has developed players and they are a school up there for sure.”

A consensus four-star recruit, the 6-foot, 190-pound linebacker is ranked as the No. 151 player in the country, No. 22 in Texas, and No. 9 among linebackers in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. ESPN has him listed as the No. 5 linebacker in the nation, while the On3 Industry ranking places him as the No. 11 linebacker and No. 164 overall player.
Over the past two seasons at Carthage, Beck has racked up 234 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, five pass breakups, and three fumble recoveries, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
He was named the Texas 4A Division II State Championship Defensive MVP after their victory over Vaco Le Vega, recording 10 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and a sack, according to 247Sports.
