After securing an impressive 2025 recruiting class, the Georgia Bulldogs are now focused on repeating that success with their 2026 group.
They’ve already landed a few commitments and are in the running for one of the top prospects, offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. Cantwell recently announced his top six schools, which include Georgia, Miami, Missouri, Michigan, Oregon, and Ohio State.
Rated as a five-star recruit, Cantwell is the top player in the country, the best at his position, and the number one player in Missouri. Over the past year, he has made several unofficial visits, and the schools that secure official visits will have a strong chance at landing his commitment.
Cantwell comes from a family with a strong athletic background, as both of his parents were Olympic throwers. His father, Christian, won a silver medal in shot put at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, while his mother, Teri, competed at the 2000 Sydney Games.
Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class so far includes:
