South Carolina football defensive lineman announced his decision to transfer from the Gamecocks this winter. On Monday, Whyce committed to Marshall, where he will continue his football career.
By joining the Thundering Herd, Whyce has the chance to honor his late father, Jamaal Whyce, Sr., who played at Marshall from 2003-2004.
Throughout his time at South Carolina, the younger Whyce recorded four total tackles over three seasons. Due to a redshirt year, he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
