Texas A&M strengthened its passing game for the upcoming season by landing another talent .
He played in only 7 games recording 9 catches for 58 yards in a challenging redshirt freshman year. He is now heading to College Station to try to revive his college career. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiver, originally from Houston, will be leaving his hometown but staying in his home state when he joins Texas A&M in 2025.
Wilson is set to join an Aggies offense that has already strengthened its receiving corps with transfer portal commitments from Mario Craver (Mississippi State), KC Concepcion (N.C. State), and Micah Hudson (Texas Tech).
In his first season with the Cougars in 2023, Wilson caught only 2 passes, one of which was a 60-yard touchdown in a loss to Oklahoma State. His other reception that season resulted in no gain against Kansas State.
In 2024, Wilson’s production remained limited, prompting him to leave the Big 12 and bring his talents to the SEC.
His transfer is expected to add depth and experience to an Aggies wide receiver group that will also include highly regarded freshmen Jerome Myles and Kelshaun Johnson this fall.
